ABT Named a 2026 ENX Elite Dealer for the Seventh Straight Year
Every October, ENX Magazine tells a short list of office technology dealers that they’ve been named Elite Dealers for the year. This year, for the seventh year running, ABT got that call. We first made the list in 2020 as Automated Business Products, and we’ve been on it every year since.

This one belongs to our people: the technicians, account managers, IT engineers and office staff in Centennial, Colorado Springs and Westminster who show up for our customers every day. And it belongs to those customers, who keep trusting a locally owned Colorado company with their offices. Thank you.
Below, we explain what the award is, how hard it is to earn, what ABT did in 2026 to earn it, and what it means if you’re choosing a copier, IT or security partner.
What the ENX Elite Dealer Award Is
ENX Magazine and its news site, The Week in Imaging, have covered the office technology industry since 1994. Its readers are the people who run copier and printer dealerships, managed print and managed IT providers, and the manufacturers that supply them. If you’ve never heard of it, that’s normal. It’s a trade magazine, and the Elite Dealer list is how the industry recognizes the dealers doing the best work.
The list is for independent dealers. According to ENX’s nomination page, dealers that have been bought by a larger company can’t enter on their own unless the parent company enters separately. That matters more every year, as more local dealers are rolled into national chains.
Here’s how the 2026 cycle worked:
| When | What happens |
| July 9, 2026 | ENX opens nominations. |
| September 18, 2026 | Nominations close. Dealers submit their results and highlights for the year. |
| Early October | ENX notifies the dealers it has selected. |
| December issue | ENX publishes a profile of each Elite Dealer. |
ENX says the highlights in each profile “illustrate why we believe companies are Elite.” Those highlights fall into four areas:
How Rare It Is
The Elite list names a little over a hundred dealers for the whole country. The 2025 list had 116, and ENX says the list averages about 2.5 honorees per state in the mainland U.S.
| 1 of 5 | In 2025, ABT was one of just five Colorado dealers on ENX’s Elite list, and the only one based in Centennial. The others were in Denver and Longmont. |
Dealers also have to earn it again every year. There’s no lifetime membership. Each nomination is judged on that year’s results, so a long streak points to a dealer that keeps improving, not one that peaked once.
Seven Years on the List
Our streak started in 2020, the year offices emptied overnight and every business had to rethink how it printed, shared files and stayed connected. By 2022 we were on the list under our new name, Automated Business Technologies. Here’s the full run, with the headline ENX gave each year’s list:
| Year | Listed as | ENX’s list |
| 2020 | Automated Business Products | “Best of the Best” |
| 2021 | Automated Business Products of Colorado | 2021 Elite Dealer award winners |
| 2022 | Automated Business Technologies | “Industry Icons” |
| 2023 | Automated Business Technologies | “Mark of Excellence” |
| 2024 | Automated Business Technologies | “Captains of Our Industry” |
| 2025 | Automated Business Technologies | “Industry’s Best and Boldest” |
| 2026 | Automated Business Technologies | Profiles in the December 2026 issue |

What Set ABT Apart in 2026
We started in 2005 as a copier and printer dealer and celebrated 20 years last fall. Copiers, printers and managed print are still the heart of what we do. But more and more, customers ask the same team to take care of their IT, security and phones too. Most of what we did in 2026 came back to that.
A Third Colorado Office
This year we opened our North Branch in Westminster to serve Westminster, Broomfield and Northern Colorado. Customers north of Denver now have an ABT team close by, alongside our offices in Centennial and Colorado Springs. Closer teams mean shorter drives and faster help when something breaks.

Managed IT on the Cover of ENX
Plenty of copier dealers say they do IT. We built a real managed IT services practice, with our own helpdesk and cybersecurity services, so customers can get their print and their IT from one Colorado team. ENX noticed. Three members of our team were on the cover of its September 2025 issue, in a feature on how we built managed IT alongside print.

Helping Customers Get Ahead of AI
AI came up in almost every customer conversation this year, usually as a question: what are my employees putting into these tools? In October we co-hosted a free AI security webinar with FireTail on finding shadow AI, the AI tools employees use without IT knowing.
We also put AI to work for customers. In October we added Dialpad, an AI-powered phone and contact center platform, to our VoIP lineup. And we kept installing Verkada cloud access control and security cameras, whose AI search helps customers find what they need in hours of video.
Kyocera’s Top Partner Tier
Industry awards are one of the things ENX weighs. In September, Kyocera named us an Elevate FY27 Platinum Partner, its highest dealer tier, for sales performance, service and customer satisfaction. It caps more than 20 years as a Kyocera dealer, and it means our customers get priority pricing, faster parts and direct access to Kyocera’s newest equipment.

Giving Back Where We Work
Charitable work is another. Giving back has been part of ABT for a long time. Our team has unloaded truckloads of food with the Centennial Faith Council, donated thousands of backpacks to kids in need, and supported local groups like Hope Online and Escuela de Guadalupe. You can read more in ABT Cares.
Why It Matters When You Choose a Dealer
An award doesn’t fix a jammed copier. But the things ENX looks at are the same things you should ask about before you sign with any copier, IT or security provider. Here’s a short checklist, and how we answer it.
| Ask your dealer | How ABT answers |
| Are you independent and local? | Yes. ABT is Colorado-owned, founded in 2005, with offices in Centennial, Colorado Springs and Westminster. |
| Where do your technicians work from? | Our three Colorado offices, so help is close by. |
| How many brands can you sell? | We’re authorized for Canon, HP, Kyocera, Xerox, FUJIFILM, Epson and Roland DG, so we can recommend the copier or printer that fits. |
| Can you handle more than print? | Yes. Print, IT, phones and building security can share one team and one point of contact. |
| What do your customers say? | Read our customer reviews. |
| Free contract review | Leasing a copier from another company? Send us your contract and we’ll walk you through the terms, costs and end date. Request my free review → |
Watch for our profile in the December 2026 issue of ENX. And if you’re one of our customers, thank you again for seven great years.
