Full Bleed printing is a simple addition to any print. By definition, full bleed printing is just a print without any margins so that the entire page is being used. This can be useful when designing marketing pamphlets, sending out PDF’s, and more. Luckily, it’s very easy to set-up. When using Word, you just need to follow these easy steps.
Here’s How To Create a Full Bleed Print
- Open up Word
- Click the “Layout” Tab
- Drop down “Margins” on the left
- Click “Custom Margins” at the very bottom
- Replace all the number fields with zeros and there you go!
Now you might get an error regarding the margins being out of the printable error. This could be a printer problem or no problem at all. If you click “Ignore” it will keep the zero inch margins. And if the page prints abnormally, then go back and click “Fix”. Word will do its best to fix the margins.
